Paradise

The knight traveled on a narrow path. He eventually got caught in a storm and when it cleared it seemed like he was in paradice.

Let's Duel

Why is the battle between Yvain and Calogrenant viewed as dishonorable (or like a crime) when it was fought fairly? Everyone in support of Calogrenant viewed Yvain as a terrible person even though they are the ones who set up traps in their castle, and they send a knight to go fight whoever causes the great storm. The people act as if Yvain hurt Calogrenant's horse or took a cheap shot at him (De Troyes, 267). Sir Yvain has a point when he states "when your lord attacked me, was I wrong to defend myself?" (De Troyes, 281).

Heart Like a Lion

Part of the song "Heart Like a Lion" by Rebelution can be compared to the story "The Knight With the Lion". Specifically, the lyrics "Heart like a lion, burnin' like fire, how can I bear captivity? Some they tell me I'm a fool, a fool who walks this road alone" remind me of Yvain when he wanted to leave alone to go and fight the knight that defeated his cousin.

Despite being warned about the dangers of the spring and having previously found fear in loose bulls ("I came upon bulls on the loose... if the truth be known, I drew back a little" p260), why would Calogrenant still go to the spring and start up the storm? Was it purely for the spirit of adventure, or was it something more; like trying to prove himself brave?

BAE problems

Love will make you do some crazy things

Today, actions such as these duels do not take place in the same sense as they did back then, however, it is safe to say that people will still fight for the one they love. In the one battle against Meleagant, all Lancelot needed for an extra push was to see the queen watching him. He fought because he loved her and because he wanted to gain favor in her eyes. I think that today, in many ways, people are fighting their own battles and all they need sometimes is to see the one they love to help them through it. Some may say that Lancelot is whipped because he stopped fighting immediately after the queen spoke, some may argue that he was simply respecting the wish the king had asked the queen to honor, regardless of the side the love he had for her made him stop fighting. The love he had for her made him return even when he had obstacles thrown in his way not to. Love is strong, love is a choice.

Be carefull because some choices may ruine our life

What was she thinking about when being rude to the knight Lancelot who came to free her? he would have died from her misconduct.

Just be grateful
