This song shares a common theme with "The Wife of Bath's Tale": appearance.I chose this song because it talks about a lot of insecurities that women tend to have about their appearances. The knight was upset because his wife was old and ugly. He was basing his opinions on her by her looks, not her personality, which happens to a lot of women. The old woman was actually very confident in herself because she knew that she was pretty on the inside. She knew that she was "F**kin' Perfect" and just had to get the knight to see that. The lyrics that stood out to me was
